Serrano Rice

  • Wooden spoon
  • Measuring cup

Ingredients
 

  • 2 Tbs Oil
  • 1 Serrano Sliced
  • 1 Garlic Clove Smashed
  • ¼ Cup Onions Thinly Sliced
  • 1 Cup Long Grain Rice Washed
  • 2 Cups Water
  • Salt To Taste

Instructions
 

  • In a pot add your oil, once hot add your sliced serrano and saute for 1-2 minutes.
  • Than add your garlic and saute for another 1-2 minutes. Once sauteed add your onion and saute until soft.
  • Once your veggies are soft add in your washed rice and saute for 1-2 minutes. Stir constantly to prevent any browning.
  • Add in your water and salt, place a lid on your pot and let it simmer. When your rice has absorbed half of the liquid add in your corn and cilantro.
  • Place your lid back on the pot and let it finish cooking. Once done it is ready to be enjoyed
