Detailed Directions

To start you want to start by adding your Achiote, Garlic, and Lime Juice into your blender.

Set your marinade aside.

Season your chicken with salt and pepper or your favorite chicken seasoning.

Pour your marinade over your chicken and bake or let it marinate overnight for better flavor.

Bake your chicken in your oven at 350 degrees until your chicken has reached the internal temperature of 165 degrees.

Ingredients
 

  • 3.5 oz Achiote Paste
  • 2 ea Garlic Cloves
  • ½ cup Lime or Orange Juice
  • 3 ea Chicken Thighs
  • Salt To Taste
  • Pepper To Taste

Instructions
 

  • Blend your Achiote Paste, Lime Juice, and garlic in the blender until smooth and set off to the side.
  • Season your chicken with salt and pepper and marinate with the achiote mixture for a minimum of an hour or overnight
  • Place marinated chicken in baking dish, and cover with aluminum.
  • Bake at 350 until chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees
